Keep outdoors in an area that gets morning or afternoon sun.

Avoid mid-day or full day sun exposure.

Ensure good drainage by planting with cactus and succulent soil. 

Always use pots with drainage holes. 

Water only when soil has become dry. Approximately 1 time per week. 

Transplant into a 1 -2 inch larger pot when plant reaches the edge of pot or roots start growing out of the drainage holes.

Cover with plastic or bring inside on nights below 32 degrees F. 

Remove any dead leaves or other debris that accumulates in pot to avoid rot.
